Read the lesson.
Welcome back, today is space for you.
Space to ponder, explore, get curious, and ultimately begin to find words that describe WHO you are, your character.
Because imagine this moment: You experience a tough moment, a set back, a moment where it seems the next step really matters but you’re not totally sure what to do next.
Imagine what this would feel like: You take a deep breath and you plant both feet on the firm ground of your identity. You say “This is who i am. This is what i’m about. This is how I do things.”
And your next step reveals itself. You find the three gifts: calm, clarity and confidence.
Let’s imagine another moment. You don’t meet expectations at work, or expectations maybe by someone you love. Thoughts of inadequacy start rising up in you, doubting yourself, and ultimately a sort of self talk that isn’t helpful.
You can have a direct go-to strategy to allow the feedback to your performance in, but to not allow the feedback to diminish your own self worth.
Honoring self is acknowledging that you, as a human being, have worth.
Your WORTH as a human being is SET.
You’re not more valuable as a human being when you do “better” actions.
You’re not less valuable as a human being when you do “bad” actions.
But this also doesn’t mean that you don’t aim to perform, to grow, to increase your ability to contribute value to others.
Having a solid sense of self-worth allows you to actually seek out feedback.
Because you’re set.
You’re not looking to prove anything.
You’re looking to improve.
But here’s the thing - this mindset doesn’t drift into existence.
It’s built by small moments over time where you first get clear on WHO you are, and then you act accordingly.
So today, I’m going to walk you through a few prompts to help you clarify who you are so that you are more grounded in your own self-worth and build up a true, deep , inner confidence.
Feel free to come back to this lesson, you could even do one prompt a day and slowly make your way through this. There’s no rush here.
1. Reflect on moments that some call flow moments.
These are times when you've been so absorbed in what you're doing that you lost track of time.
What specifically were you doing in these moments?
What elements were present that made you feel this way?
Who were you with (if anyone), and what was the environment like?
What does this reveal about the conditions where your authentic self emerges most naturally?
2. Consider a time when you faced a difficult decision where your values were tested:
What values were in conflict, and which one did you ultimately prioritize?
How did making this choice make you feel afterward?
If you faced the same choice again today, would you decide differently?
What does this reveal about what you truly stand for when tested?
Focus especially on decisions made under pressure, as they often reveal our core character.
3. Your Inner Drive
think about one of your highest achievements - something you’re proud of accomplishing - What qualities about your character were being lived out?
What problems or causes did you dedicate yourself to solving?
what’s the conversation you’d want to have for the rest of your life? i’m not saying this is the only conversation - but what conversation do you want to have with at least one person every single day
How do people feel differently after working with you?
what does your faith have to say about who you are? our inner drive is absolutely informed by what we believe in. so what do you believe - and how does that clarify who you are
what kind of pursuits do you constantly go after?
And remember you were made for a purpose, with a purpose, on purpose. aspects about who you are have reason behind them. if you haven’t found qualities about yourself that you love, enjoy, are proud of, can see the value - then just know they are there - and you are committed to discovering them. and i’m here to help you.
So stay open minded - i believe that we can always discover more about ourselves. that’s how beautifully we’ve been designed. so there are
Stay curious. There’s aspects about yourself you may have yet to discover.
4. Resistance Reflection
Identify areas where you consistently push back:
What moments have you been unable to stay silent?
What practices or approaches in your field do you question or challenge?
What standards do you refuse to compromise on, even when it would be easier?
Put words to what you fight for.
What does this pattern of resistance reveal about who you are? The boundaries we defend often illuminate what we most deeply value.
5. Energy Audit
Track your energy levels throughout a typical week:
Which activities consistently energize you rather than drain you?
Which people bring out your best thinking and authentic expression?
What types of problems do you find yourself eager to solve, even when tired?
What patterns emerge about the conditions where you feel most alive and like yourself?
think about how YOU show up. think of people you enjoy being around, that you love. when you show up in a way you are proud of, describe that.
HONORING SELF INVOLVES SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF.
EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Action is required, but our thoughts are the starting point.
And you got a bit more clear today in your thoughts about WHO you are.
